- Use Text ads than Image ads.
- Stay away from 468X60 Banner Ad Units as much as possible.
- 234X60 Half Banner will fit neatly into Text Space.
- Use Rectangular Ads Most, especially 336X280.

Colouring Ads

- Match the Ad's Border and Background with the Background of the Webpage.
- The Text Size, Font and Colour of the Ads Match the Website Elements.
- Use Ad's Link Colour as Blue.
- Make URL Colour to match the Text Description (But Dont Disappear URL - its against Rule).

Ad Placement

- Vertical Ads and Buttons Should use on the side of the page.
- Vertical Link Unit Should be placed next to link list.
- Place Horizontal Link Units after the Navigation Bar.
- Place Search Boxes ,one on Top and one at Bottom.
- Place Leaderboards only at the Top of the Page, above the Main text.
- Identify the Places that most of the users look, and put Ads there.
- Put Most Ads Above the Fold(Part of the Page that can see without Scrolling.
- Use Tables to neatly align Ads on the Page.
- Put Ads near Images.

- Keep Title, Directory and Headlines Relevent.
- Using the Tag 'h1' instead of 'font' for Headlines.
- Place Adsense Box Direct Above the Keywords of the Page.
- Give Weightage to the important sections using Section Targeting.
